Since 2007, reGeneration has been doing trauma-informed education work on the ground in the Middle East — learning firsthand what children living under prolonged conflict and toxic stress actually need. That experience led us to Essence of Learning, a pedagogical framework developed over two decades that has reached more than 50,000 children across 14 conflict-affected countries since 2001.
Today, Essence of Learning is reGeneration’s methodology — and we bring it to classrooms in the Middle East, across Europe (Kosovo, Moldova, Romania, Switzerland), the United States, and beyond.
