Our Mission

deserve to be nurtured.

A child growing up in harsh living conditions — violence, poverty, food scarcity, social instability, or natural disasters — experiences prolonged toxic stress in their brain and body, interfering with their ability to learn.

reGeneration Education equips teachers with quality, holistic teaching methods rooted in neuroscience that are developmentally appropriate, practical, and sustainable. Recognized by the United Nations, our nurturing teaching approach re-engages children’s capacity to learn and achieve despite the adversity they have endured.

reGeneration Education Core Belief
what we do

1

Toxic stress does not eliminate a child’s ability to learn — it disrupts how learning happens. We train teachers to recognize where learning has stalled and to re-engage it at the appropriate developmental stage, without pressure or shame.

2

Teachers are the only consistent, scalable intervention that reaches every child, every day. We restore teacher confidence, integrate trauma-informed practice into everyday classroom routines, and reduce burnout by replacing guesswork with clear developmental guidance.

3

We do not provide therapy or operate schools. Instead, we work at the classroom and systems level — helping educators adapt how learning happens so children can re-engage, regulate, and succeed academically, even in high-adversity contexts.

Where we work

reGeneration Education began in Israel–Palestine, where we developed and tested our approach with children living under conditions of prolonged conflict and stress. Today our work has grown beyond that region — reaching teachers and children in Europe, the United States, and other trauma-affected contexts globally. Wherever toxic stress disrupts learning, our framework can help.

The Teacher as Leverage Point

Teachers reach both children and parents — every day. When equipped with trauma-informed, developmentally grounded tools, they restore children’s readiness to learn, maintain academic integrity without pressure or shame, and strengthen education systems from within.

This approach allows learning to become part of healing — giving children access to futures shaped not by trauma, but by possibility.
